With the same conductor/insulation/binding construction, the Special XS IC has a rated impedance of 110 Ohm and features X-Shield (Patent RU No.124837U) - our most advanced Multi-Element Shielding System. It is a 3-layer interactive sandwich, where >30% BRC braid is enclosed by two layers of copper foiled PET. X-Shield brings exceptional EMI protection across a wide frequency bandwidth - from ELF to SHF and drastically reduces the negative influence of multiple interferences on the actual audio signal path. Besides effective noise protection it further improves the overall mechanical and damping properties. The model is available on spools and in standard terminated lengths fitted with the all new Special V2 RCA & Classic V2 XLR plugs for analogue and digital (AES/EBU) signal transmission.
